Looking for Hair Testers!

Since Calla opened in 2006 (yes, I'm ancient) I've been using the same hair textures. I have to say, I really love my hair textures, and every time I remake a new one (I do that much more frequently than you'd imagine) I never love it the way I do the ones I've always used.

I typically stick to the "If it ain't broken, don't fix it!" theory. However! I am finding that it's much harder for me to create new "floofy" textures - you know, the fancy curls and wisps that go on the flexi prims - that match the current textures in a way that I'm really happy with. The color is always just a little bit off and it annoys the perfectionist in me. Most people probably don't even notice, but I do. Until now, I've overlooked it, but it's high time I stop being frustrated with it and do something about it! At this point, it's hindering my ability to create new stuff.

Rather than make yet another round of textures that just takes up space on my hard drive, I'm going to put them on some hair and get some feedback from you! I will say now that I intend to make them as close as possible to the current textures in shade as I can. So if you wear Mocha, you should still recognize it, but it's going to be a little different.

If you're interested in having input on how this goes, here's your chance. Just follow the instructions below, and send this card back over to me. I'll be selecting people based on the need for testing specific color ranges. (i. e. X number of people for blondes, Y for brunettes, etc.) If you're typically a redhead, that's what I want you to test!

I can't guarantee I'll change the textures at all, so this is strictly for feedback and opinions at this point. Where it goes will largely depend on what you think. If you're up to it, go on and fill this out! :)

Falling Down

So sexy, hot as fire, and seductive without being trashy, this little number will make them do a double take! Heirloom Lace

The second release is Heirloom Lace, a breathtaking, romantic, elegant lace gown that will make you feel like the princess you are. It's a gown that has a touch of Renaissance feel, but is completely modern! It comes with three different skirts to switch up th...e look. There is a very slim skirt (you may need a "skirt shape" to make it fit just right) as well as a fuller gown skirt, and I tossed in a train skirt too, just because. It would work beautifully as a wedding dress, or a very dramatic evening gown - think red carpet trailing gowns. My favorite is the slim skirt, it's very modern, but beautiful and feminine, too!

Spring Has Sprung Tiers of Joy

Two new releases in the store today! First up, is Tiers of Joy. Springy and sweet, this is a fun little dress that has butterflies flitting all over it. There's a sculpted bow tied sweetly in the back that gives it an extra touch of femininity.
